About Us

Macarthur Herpetological Society was registered in April, 2000 and whilst we have had changes in venue and committees over the years, our focus remains the same. That is, to provide a friendly yet educational setting in which members and general public alike can share ideas and obtain knowledge about herpetofauna.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Friday of every month, though this is subject to change occasionally so keep an eye on the website or our Facebook page for the most current details. Doors open from 7pm with a presentation from a guest speaker at 7:30. Occasionally we will mix things up with a trivia night, swap meet or even a visit from a zoo or park. Entry to meetings is free for all financial members and only $5 for visitors.

Membership forms are available at all meetings and fees payable on the night. Membership can also be arranged online by contacting us on president@macarthurreptiles.com.au
